The short version. CrankMagic is a free fan project. Use it for your own decks and collection, don't misuse it, and keep backups: it comes with no guarantees.
What CrankMagic is
CrankMagic is a free, unofficial workshop for Magic: The Gathering Commander decks, run by Rob Minor. It is Fan Content permitted under the Wizards of the Coast Fan Content Policy, and is not approved or endorsed by Wizards.
Using it
- You may use CrankMagic to build, test, explore and track decks and cards for your own use.
- Don't try to break it, overload it, scrape it, or get around its security or sign-in, and don't use it to harm anyone.
Accounts
- Cloud accounts are by invitation. Keep your sign-in to yourself; what happens under your account is your responsibility.
- Access can be suspended or removed for misuse, and the service can change or end.
Your content
Your library and notes are yours. By saving them to the cloud library, you let CrankMagic store and process them only to provide that service to you. You can save a backup or have them deleted at any time (see Privacy).
Cards, images and prices
Card names, images and game text belong to Wizards of the Coast. Card data and images come from Scryfall and commander popularity from EDHREC; neither is affiliated with CrankMagic. Prices are dated snapshots, not offers.
No guarantees
- CrankMagic is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. It may have mistakes, be unavailable, or lose data; keep backups (Menu → Save a backup file).
- Measurements and simulations are estimates under a model, not predictions of real games.
- To the extent the law allows, CrankMagic and its operator are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data.
Changes
These terms may change; when they do, this page and the date at the top change with it. Using CrankMagic after a change means you accept the new terms.
